I’m a Holistic Health Coach on a mission to empower women to break free from food anxiety, body image struggles, and the trap of restrictive dieting to live a life of true food freedom. My journey began in my early 20s while pursuing an acting career in Hollywood. Surrounded by the pressure to fit a specific body ideal, I was consumed by constant comparison and endless cycles of restrictive diets. No matter what I tried, I felt trapped in anxiety and never truly comfortable in my skin.
Everything changed when I decided enough was enough. I vowed to stop dieting, though the lingering food anxiety persisted. In an unexpected twist, I signed up for a triathlon—not to fix my eating habits, but simply to challenge myself. Training revealed something profound: I needed more food to fuel my workouts, and for the first time, I experienced food as true nourishment, not an enemy. This mindset shift began to unravel my old beliefs about dieting, teaching me that the right amount of food, rather than a low-calorie meal, is what truly supports a vibrant life.
Yet, despite these positive changes, I still struggled with body image. Dressing up, taking photos, or even just looking in the mirror often felt like a battle. Approaching my 29th birthday, I realized acting was no longer fulfilling me, but finding a new path wasn’t easy. I explored many different career paths—from influencer to florist—none of which felt right. The thought of a corporate job even brought me to tears.
Amid this exploration, I found clarity reflecting on what I had loved most during my acting years: working at the gym and living a life centered around movement and wellness. This led me to discover the world of health coaching and the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN), where many of my wellness role models had studied. Enrolling in IIN felt like fate, opening my eyes to the power of holistic nutrition, the mind-body connection, and the impact of lifestyle on health.
The program didn’t just deepen my knowledge; it provided the final piece of my healing puzzle—understanding that to truly transform, you must heal the emotional blocks that trigger self-sabotage. This revelation became my passion, shaping my approach to coaching and guiding others on their path to food freedom and self-acceptance.
